Born in 1970, began making artworks in 2005 at Atelier Corners (Abeno Ward, Osaka).
Inspired by a piano and sheet music donated to the facility, he developed his current style of meticulously copying musical scores. The deformed staves and dynamically rendered notes create a rich visual world, as if the sheet music itself were producing rhythm and depth like a piece of music.
His works have been exhibited widely, including in the abcd collection and at art museums in Japan and abroad.
